Overall great poles at a good value. These are the first trekking poles I have used and they did help to alleviate some of my backpacking load. They are clamp-lock poles, so they do take a bit of extra work to collapse compared to quick-lock poles. They have comfortable rubber grips and soft fabric handles. They did not have any issues with collapsing unexpectedly under load during hikes and moderate trail/boulder climbing. All-in-all, I would recommend them as an economical trekking pole option.
